Drótpostán jött az értesítés, hogy a TashkentAle 2010 kiállításon való részvételemet (beküldött kollekciómat) a szervezők aranyéremmel jutalmazták, és diplomáciai úton küldték meg a Külügyminisztériumnak. Jakab András  vezető-főtanácsostól (Kelet-európai és Közép-ázsiai Főosztály) ma átvettem ezeket….

Hogy egy plecsnivel több, vagy kevesebb – ez kevésbé érdekel. Annak azonban örülök, hogy olyan mezőnyben mérettettek meg a képeim, amit sokan mértékadónak tekintenek a kortárs fotóművészet nemzetközi reprezentációjában.  A TashkentAle 2010  zsűrije 5 kontinens 43 országából beküldött 2000 képből válogatta ki a legjobbkat, és díjazta a kreatív fotográfia kiemelkedő alkotóit: Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (Thailand), Agberagba Tavershima John (Nigeria), Agdes Baghirzade (Azerbaijan), Artem Shulga (Ukraine), Hernan Lorenzo (Argentine), Janos Eifert (Hungary), Jorge Novominsky (Israel), Kaveh Bagdadchi (Iran), Khaled Hasan (Bangladesh), Khasan Paydoev (Uzbekistan), Vladimir Goncharenko (Uzbekistan).

Ahogy Ilona Ilyasova, a szervezőbizottság “feje” írta korábban küldött levelében: “Dear Janos! Congratulations, you are awarded with golden medal of our biennial for your outstanding work!” – majd minden résztvevő számára szólóan: “Dear participant of 5 INTERNATIONAL PHOTO BIENNIAL! On behalf of organizers «TashkentAle – 2010», from myself personally I thank you for participation in our large-scale photographic exhibition. Your active participation, your magnificent works, your original and bright talent have allowed to present fans of art of Uzbekistan and visitors of our country the newest tendencies of development of photoart on a global scale, have made biennial a unforgettable holiday of a photo for organizers and spectators. For me as person who worked with you from the beginning of the preparatory period of an exhibition and before biennial closing, – the great honor and pleasure to cooperate with you. From the bottom of the heart I wish you the further creative opening, the interesting exhibitions, brilliant prospects, and also health, happiness, pleasure, well-being to you and your relatives. Work with your photos has enriched me spiritually very much, and I trust, that visitors of our exhibitions have received not only representation about advanced achievements in a photo, but also have expanded the representation about the world, art and about themselves.

Biennial was very successful. There have been sent about 2000 works of 174 photographers from 43 countries from 5 continents for exhibition. The sent photos were shown in seven showrooms: in Tashkent – the Tashkent House of a photography, the Central Hall of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, the Palace of Creativity of Youth, the State Museum of Arts of Uzbekistan, the International Caravan-serai of Culture, Gallery of the Fine Arts of Uzbekistan, in Samarkand – Gallery “Chorsu”.”
