Andrey V. Remnjov was born in 1962 in town Yachroma, Moscow region. Finished Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov (class professors Claudia Tutevol and Eugeni Maksimov). Trained in Germany, worked on France, Swiss, Cyprus, where has created a series of landscapes and portraits, including portrait of the president of Cyprus. Study icon painting with Master Father Viacheslav (Savinjh) in Spaso-Andronikov monastery, Moscow. In Russia and abroad Remnjov participated in numerous exhibitions. His works are in private and institution collections. Art technique of Andrey Remnjov founded on connection receptions of Russian medieval icon painting, Russian 18 century painting, composition methods of art group «Mir Iskusstva» («World of Art») and Russian constructivism. Following the artists of the past, Andrey Remnjov has to work with own handmade colors uses natural pigments on eggs yolk.
