The AUDIOVISUALGROUP The Royal Photographic Society’s presents János Eifert from Budapest at the RPS Centre of Photography, The Octagon, Bath, on Saturday 10th December, 1994.
János Eifert is recognised today as one of the world’s greatest exponents of the art of audio-visual. He was a professional dancer for 17 years from the age of eighteen before turning to photography. He has held over 50 One-Man shows in Hungary, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, France, Canada, U.S.A., Latvia, U.S.S.R., and Italy (to name but ten!) . His Audio-visual sequences have won many international prizes including 7 First-in-Festival.
János performs his sequences by hand, without electronic synchronisation.

Milupa termékfotók, a Gray Budapest megbízásából, 1994. július 1.
A Gray Budapest megbízásából fényképezem a Milupa termékeket, évek óta. Tejpépek, tejbedarapépek, baba-desszertek… Szeretem ezt a munkát, mert a modern csendélet eszközeit gyakorolhatom. Mamiya 645 kamerával fényképezek, műteremben, és leginkább tárgyfotókat készítek. Olykor tárgyasztalt is használok, alulról átvilágított, matt plexilappal. Evvel tudom elérni, hogy árnyékmentes legyen a tárgy körüli környezet. Hogy a dobozok oldalélei párhuzamosak legyenek, teleobjektívvel fényképezek, és megemelem a gépet az állványon, a tengelyhez képest. Fent ugyan sok levegő marad így, de a nyomdai megjelítés nagysága miatt a 6×4,5 cm nagyságú diából bőven tellik a vágásra. Legjobb lenn persze dönthető hát- és előlapú, Linhof-rendszerű fényképezőgép, de ez túl drága, számomra megfizethetetlen és kihasználatlan lenne. A munkámmal meg vannak elégedve, stílusommal úgyszintén, úgyhogy nincs szükség a gép-, vagy stílus-váltásra.
