“An exhibition of works by Hungarian photographer János Eifert is opening in Cifte Amam, Skopje Old Bazaar at 7.00 p.m. today. Photographs from all periods of the author’s works are presented. Director of the National Gallery of Macedonia Maja Krstevska, Hungarian Ambassador to Macedonia Ferenc Kekesi and Director of the Macedonian Centre for Photography Robert Jankuloski will open the show. Eifert is a prominent figure in the Hungarian art. He has had 168 solo shows and has taken part in 650 group ones. The winner of 160 award, credits and diplomas, he has photographed scenes in 37 countries. His newspaper photographs and columns are published in specialised newspapers, magazines, books and publications. “Eifert’s works cannot be sorted in a certain style because he constantly tries to do things in a different way. Always diverse, he renews his art and seeks new experimental forms in his expression,” the National Gallery says.
